CRI Ireland separates three different kinds of material: imported company-directory data, independent editorial content and commercial material. This disclosure explains how those layers are presented so visitors can understand what they are reading.
Company-directory data
Structured company fields are imported from identified public or permitted datasets. Advertising, sponsorship or payment does not change a company number, imported status, legal type, source date or other register-derived field. Corrections to directory presentation are handled independently of commercial relationships.
Editorial content
Business guides, grant explanations, sector introductions, FAQs and explanatory text are CRI editorial material. They may summarise terminology or point to official sources, but they are not official government guidance and should not be treated as legal, tax, accounting or financial advice.
Advertising and sponsorship
Paid placements, sponsored resources or commercial partnerships should be clearly distinguishable from independent directory results. A sponsor does not receive the right to suppress factual competitor listings, alter company data or influence the correction of an inaccurate CRI-generated statement.
Affiliate or referral links
If CRI uses a commercial referral or affiliate relationship in the future, the relevant page or link should be disclosed where required. Ordinary source links and the CRI network links in the footer are not automatically evidence of a paid endorsement.
Conflicts and corrections
Where a commercial relationship could reasonably create confusion, CRI should disclose the relationship and keep the underlying company data separate. Visitors can report an undisclosed conflict, misleading label or other presentation concern through the Contact page.
